Rigging & Equipment Transit

Moving heavy things is part of almost every industrial project — but doing it safely takes more than a forklift and some muscle. We handle rigging, equipment relocation, and machinery placement with the planning, the gear, and the experience to get it done without damage, delays, or injuries.

Rigging Services

Rigging is as much about what you can't see as what you can. Load weight, center of gravity, lift points, sling angles, ground conditions, overhead clearance — miss any one of those and a routine lift becomes a problem fast. Our riggers assess every lift before the first strap goes on, calculating loads, selecting the right rigging hardware, and communicating the plan to everyone involved.

What we bring to every lift:

  • Certified riggers who know the difference between a safe lift and a lucky one

  • Properly rated slings, shackles, spreader bars, and below-the-hook devices

  • Lift planning for everything from straightforward picks to complex multi-crane lifts

  • Signal person coordination — clear communication between the rigger, the crane operator, and the ground crew

  • Pre-lift inspections of all rigging gear before it sees a load

We handle the lifts that make people nervous — tight quarters, uneven terrain, high-value equipment where a scratch costs more than the lift itself — and we handle the routine ones with the same level of attention. Complacency is the enemy, and we don't make room for it.

Moving & Relocation

Moving production equipment — whether it's across the bay or into a brand-new building — is a logistics puzzle with expensive consequences if it goes wrong. We provide the labor, the equipment, and the planning to get your machinery from point A to point B in one piece.

Equipment we regularly move:

  • Production machinery and assembly lines

  • CNC machines, lathes, and precision equipment requiring level placement

  • Pumps, motors, and mechanical drive systems

  • Tanks and vessels

  • Electrical panels and control cabinets

  • Process skids and modular equipment

Every move starts with a walkdown. We measure doorways, check floor loading, identify obstructions, and plan the route before anything gets disconnected. For sensitive equipment, we handle blocking, cribbing, and vibration monitoring during transport. When the machine lands, it gets leveled and set to spec — not "close enough."

Installation Support

Moving equipment is half the job. Getting it anchored, leveled, aligned, and ready to run is the other half. We provide hands-on installation support that bridges the gap between the rigging crew and the startup team.

Support we provide:

  • Equipment setting and alignment

  • Anchor bolt installation — mechanical and epoxy-set

  • Grouting — precision and non-shrink for rotating equipment and critical alignments

  • Sole plate and base plate leveling

  • Final positioning and shimming

Lift & Forklift Services

There's no margin for error in rigging. A dropped load can destroy equipment, shut down a project, or hurt someone — and that's a risk we take seriously on every single lift. We plan first, lift second. Every time.

We also understand that moving equipment usually happens in the middle of everything else. The production line is down. The contractor schedule is tight. People are waiting on the machine to land so they can start their work. We move with purpose — not rushed, not careless, but deliberate and efficient. The load gets where it's going, the paperwork gets signed, and the next trade gets to work.

If you've got equipment to move, machinery to set, or a lift that needs someone who knows what they're doing, call us. We'll come take a look, put a plan together, and move it.

Why Choose Team Work Industrial Services?

We don't cut corners, we don't drag our feet, and we don't leave a job until it's done right. Every person we put on your site has been vetted, trained, and held to a standard that starts with showing up on time and ends with work you don't have to double-check. We move fast — but not at the expense of quality. When you're staring down a shutdown deadline or a backlog of maintenance tickets, speed is the only thing that matters, and we've built our entire approach around getting you back up and running without ever having to call us back to fix something we already touched.

Safety runs through everything we do. Every job gets a pre-task plan, every worker knows the hazards, and nobody takes a shortcut that puts people or equipment at risk. That's not corporate speak — it's how we've earned our reputation, job after job.

If your facility needs maintenance support, outage manpower, or a crew that treats your operation like their own, give us a call. We'll come take a look, put a plan together, and get to work.
